Who we are
This website is operated by Asiaway Trading Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong. Our office, where the work is carried out, is in Shenzhen, China. We provide sourcing, factory auditing, inspection and logistics services in China for customers in Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union and elsewhere.

What we collect
When you use our contact form, we receive what you enter: your name, your company, your country, your email address, your phone or WhatsApp number, a description of what you need sourced or inspected, an approximate annual volume, and how you would prefer to be contacted.
Our website also uses Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used. That only runs if you accept it. See our cookie policy.
What we use it for
Only to answer your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to carry out the work you ask us to do. We do not use your details for marketing. We do not sell, rent or share them. We do not pass your details to other customers or to other companies.
Who else sees it
Nobody, with one qualification: our website and our email are hosted by Bluehost, who store the data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. Beyond that, your enquiry is not disclosed to anyone.
Where it is held
Our email is hosted in the United States, and it is read from our office in Shenzhen, China, because that is where we work. By sending us an enquiry you accept that your details are held and accessed in those places.
How long we keep it
Enquiries remain in our email as a record of what you asked for, and we keep them for as long as they are useful for the work or the relationship. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we will, unless we are required by law to keep something.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how it is used, or object to our use of it. Write to tomohalloran@asiawt.com and we will deal with it.
Asiaway Trading Ltd is a Hong Kong company, and we handle personal data in line with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, including its six Data Protection Principles. Where we deal with people in the European Union or the United Kingdom we also apply the rights set out in the GDPR and the UK GDPR, which in practice means the same things: access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong, to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Why we are allowed to hold it
For replying to your enquiry we rely on our legitimate interest in answering a business approach, and on taking the steps you asked for before entering into a contract. For analytics cookies we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
